It is committed to improving the German education and research landscape in the long term. To this end, it promotes universities and research institutes, supports talented individuals, analyzes the science system and derives recommendations for policymakers and industry.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”12613″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https:\/\/www.hrk.de\/”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The German Rectors’ Conference is the voluntary association of state and state-recognized universities and higher education institutions in Germany. It currently has 267 member universities. More than 94 percent of all students in Germany are enrolled in them. The HRK is the voice of the universities vis-\u00e0-vis politics and the public and the forum for the joint opinion-forming process of the universities.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”12615″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https:\/\/www.che.de\/”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The CHE Centre for Higher Education is supported by the Bertelsmann Foundation and the Foundation for the Promotion of the German Rectors’ Conference.
